Terms & Conditions

Waldorf Piano Tuning LLC

Scope of Service

Every appointment begins with an inspection of the piano's overall condition. I evaluate its pitch, tuning stability, playability, and any obvious mechanical concerns before beginning work.

If I recommend additional services beyond the original appointment, I will explain why they are recommended and provide a quote before performing any additional work.

No additional work is performed without the customer's approval.

Pricing

New client appointments begin at $200 and include an inspection and standard piano tuning.

Extended travel appointments and Comprehensive Piano Service appointments may have different pricing. Pricing is confirmed before work begins.

Previously quoted appointments will always be honored at the quoted price.

Comprehensive Piano Service (CPS)

Comprehensive Piano Service is a fixed-price 2.5-hour appointment designed for pianos requiring more than a standard tuning.

The service may include:

  • Standard tuning

  • Pitch correction, if needed

  • Light interior cleaning

  • Minor regulation adjustments

  • Minor repairs that can reasonably be completed during the appointment

The appointment is $275 regardless of which combination of these services is performed during the scheduled time.

Work exceeding the allotted appointment time, extensive repairs, deep cleaning, or major regulation will be quoted separately, usually during a follow-up appointment.

Piano Condition

Many older or previously neglected pianos require multiple visits before they become stable.

Because every piano is different, no guarantee can be made regarding pitch stability, repairability, or tuning results until the instrument has been inspected.

If I determine that a piano is not economically repairable or that additional work would not provide reasonable value, I will explain my findings honestly and discuss your options.

Customer Responsibilities

Please have the piano cleared of decorations and provide adequate space for access before the appointment.

Pets should be secured if necessary to allow safe and uninterrupted work.

If possible, maintain a comfortable indoor temperature and avoid moving the piano immediately before the appointment

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Credit/Debit Card

  • Zelle

  • Apple Pay (if available)

Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice.

Florida weather occasionally makes travel unsafe. If severe weather affects travel, the appointment may be rescheduled at no additional charge.

If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule, please provide as much notice as possible.

Estimates & Additional Work

Online pricing, website pricing, and verbal estimates are intended to describe the requested service.

If additional work becomes necessary after inspection, I will explain the reason, provide a revised quote, and obtain approval before proceeding.

Warranty

I stand behind the quality of my workmanship.

If you have concerns following your appointment, please contact me promptly so I can evaluate the situation and determine an appropriate solution.

My Commitment

My goal is simple:

Provide honest recommendations, explain the condition of your piano in plain language, and help you make the best decision for your instrument and your budget.

Not every piano needs major work, and not every repair is worth pursuing. I believe in recommending only the services that make practical sense while treating every customer and every instrument with professionalism and respect.
